All Woodsense Scales sets are handcrafted with select figured woods, hand-laid or locally sourced composites and/or shop-produced flitch veneer. While Woodsense Scales strives to produce the finest-hand made scales for your steel, natural wood and composites may have imperfections.

Woodsense Scales are constructed with West System Epoxy. Liners should be scuffed and solution washed prior to glue up. When machining wood or composites you should always take proper precautions and wear personal protective equipment, especially an approved respirator.

While grinding scales, care should be taken keep the scales cool as extreme heat can cause delamination.
